Description
We are looking for a highly qualified Control Engineer to join our technical team in a high-performance project. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of advanced control systems applied to next-generation racing vessels.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams (aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, software, and electronics) to improve system performance, stability, and efficiency.
The project will be primarily developed in the United Kingdom (UK), so availability to travel regularly from our headquarters is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of control algorithms (PID, optimal control, robust control, etc.)
- Modeling and simulation of complex dynamic systems
- Implementation of real-time control systems
- Integration with sensors, actuators, and embedded systems
- Data analysis and parameter tuning for performance optimization
- System validation on test benches and in real-world conditions
- Close collaboration with software, electronics, and design teams
- Support during sea trials and competition events
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Control, Automation, Aerospace, Industrial, or similar)
- Experience in control systems design
- Strong knowledge of:
- System dynamics
- Control theory
- Modeling and simulation (MATLAB/Simulink or similar)
- Programming experience (C/C++, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with real-time and/or embedded systems
- High level of English (essential for an international environment)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in high-performance environments (automotive, motorsport, aerospace, marine)
- Knowledge of nonlinear or adaptive control
- Experience with data acquisition and analysis
- Understanding of mechatronic systems
- Previous experience in competitive or highly demanding projects
