Senior Simulations Engineer
At BOLD, we design and build the next generation of high-performance battery systems for the world’s most demanding industries — from Formula 1 and hypercars to aerospace, marine and defense. Our mission: to deliver energy systems where every millisecond and every degree matter.
We are looking for a Senior Simulations Engineer to drive the development, validation, and optimization of high-performance electrification systems through advanced simulation, playing a key role in technical decision-making for battery and electric powertrain projects across automotive, motorsport, and special applications.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development, execution, and validation of advanced simulation models for electrical and battery systems.
- Use simulation results to drive architecture, design, and performance decisions at system and component level.
- Act as a technical reference for simulation topics within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with design, validation, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment between simulation, testing, and real-world performance.
- Define simulation methodologies, assumptions, and best practices.
- Review, validate, and challenge simulation models and results generated by junior engineers.
- Support system validation through correlation of simulation models with experimental and vehicle data.
- Identify limitations, risks, and improvement opportunities in system designs using simulation insights.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and internal standards.
- Provide high-level technical support to other departments and projects when required. Why Join BOLD
